Depending on what model and motor you 1995 Ford Taurus has it can run $125.00 to $300. The price variance is due to the fact that alternators can be purchased brand new or remanufactured. I would suggest that you purchase a remanufactured model to save money. If you need this alternator installed by a service professional you should expect at least 2 hours of labor at an average of $60 per hour plus the cost of the alternator. Good luck!
I had a similar problem in a taurus. I had to replace the alternator.
It is possible, but you would have to modify the engine bay slightly. This has been done before in the SHOWagon Project (converting a SLO Station Wagon into a SHO Wagon) and in Project SHO involving a 4th gen Taurus SE (2000-2006) conversion to a 4th gen Taurus SHO.
The "last" Taurus wagon was produced in December 2004, which would have been a 2005 model year. The Taurus name though was revived after a short retirement, and in the 2008 model year, the "Freestyle" was rebadged as the Taurus X, taking it's place in the lineup as a wagon model.
i would like to know how many people fit in a vauxhall astra station wagon
The nearest answer I have found for the weight of a Celebrity station wagon is 2700 to 3000 pounds. That would vary by engine and options the car came with.
Probably a ground wire issue.
Buick Rainier
No. A 1982 would not have airbags.
Assuming we are talking about a 55 4 door station wagon Chevrolet, if the 56 is a 2 or 4 door sedan or 4 door station wagon, yes. If the 56 is a 2 or 4 door hard top or Nomad, no.
The alternator is somewhere around $125. Not sure what labor would be, but plan on at least a $100 for it. Changing the alternator yourself isn't really a difficult job - See "Related Questions" below for more
I'm not sure about all of these, but I have a 98 Taurus and the battery light came on. After a few days, the car died altogether and I had to replace my alternator. I would definitely take the battery indicator seriously and have your alternator checked.
I didn't have one in my 1987 Taurus wagon, nor my 1991 Sable LS. Probably afraid an irritated parent would "accidentally" hit the button on a long road-trip with the kids in the 'way back' visit www.a1electric.com they are specialized in car doors and latches Regards
