You might be able to do it yourself for not much money. Go to a local auto parts retailer and see if they have a small inexpensive AC pressure gauge. If you can get one, check the pressure level in your ac system, and if it's low, you probably can buy a can or two of refrigerant to top off the refrigerant. Make sure you use a gauge so that you don't overfill the system, otherwise you'll cause other problems, but with a little care and reading the directions, you should be able to repair it yourself if the problem isn't too severe. Of course, there is the possibility that there are more serious problems, in which case you'll need to spend a little more money, but if it's just low, that's an easy fix.
