It changes itself as you drive down the road.... just keep adding more when it leaks... just change filter every few thousand miles as like any Harley
*I think what the previous poster is implying is that your Harley will leak oil out and to just replenish the oil as the level drops. Personally, I wouldn't depend on that method. Think about it, you spend multiple thousands on a piece of machinery, wouldn't you want to take care of it? That would include regular oil/filter changes. For me, I do that every 2500 miles. This insures that the motor has a relatively fresh supply of oil throughout it's life
At least once a year. If you do a lot of short rides or stop and go riding, twice a year.
