Oil and filter change every 3 to 5 thousand km. Before riding, check engine oil level, fuel, coolant, brakes, tires, throttle, clutch, steering, lights, side stand and engine stop switch. Every 6 thousand km check air filter, crankcase breather, spark plugs, idle speed, battery electrolyte level, brake fluid reservoir, brake pad wear, drum brake lining and the clutch fluid level. Every 12 thousand km, check fuel system and hoses, battery, throttle and choke cables, valve clearance and carburetor sync. Check final drive oil level if applicable. Lubricate final drive flange with grease. Check brake light switches, headlight aim, hydraulic system, stand pivots, suspension, steering head bearings, condition of wheels and tires and their bearnings and all nuts and fasteners. Every 36 thousand km, replace coolant, fuelt filter and final drive oil if applicable. With a chain driven bike, lubricate every thousand km.
