Anywhere from like 5 times a day to once a week in my experience with 4 kids :)
ANSWER It varies from baby to baby. Some newborns have a bowel movement after every feeding (especially breastfed babies), some newborns go every other day or every few days. As long as your baby doesn't seem to be constipated (bloated belly, crying, straining, etc.) then there is no need for concern. Best of luck!
The first stool/poop a newborn pup/human takes is a very sticky greenish black and is called meconium.
25 times a day
it is unhealthy so you should often clean the cage.
my new born kitten's butt is bleeding what does it mean? is it normal?
when ever it wants!!! no just joking once every 2 days
Your newborn should be nursing 8 to 12 times per day for about the first month.
Because it just does!! But if it stinks too much, then that baby should go see a doctor. Another answer would be maybe the baby got it passed down from his/her mom.
You are supposed to poop every six hours
Newborn feces are actually called meconium, and they look like black tar, sometimes with a slight dark olive green or yellow tinge. After the first few days of passing meconium and drinking milk, feces usually turn to a light yellow color.
They grow 4 inches and eat, poop, sleep, burp, giggle, spit,
if your asking where, ON YOU!
Genetic testing is used most often for newborn screening. Every year, millions of newborn babies have their blood samples tested for potentially serious genetic diseases.
