Change the plugs at 100,000 miles or earlier if the engine is not performing as it should.
I have a starting promblem on my ford fiesta 1.4 diesel zetec on 55 plate is it likely to be the glow/core plugs, if so how do I change them, where are they situated?
According to the owners manual, they have platinum plugs that should be changed at 100,000 miles.
If they are platinum plugs, should be every 95,000 to 100,000 miles.
The original plugs should be good for around 100,000 miles ( 160,000 ) kms. Take it from there.
Change the plugs and wires at 100,000 miles unless you experience poor performance or a drop in MPG. In that case change them sooner.
Generally I change platinum plugs at 100K and regular plugs at 50K.
How i can change the engine oil for my my mercedes benz 240c 2003?
Heater plugs in a ford focus 1.8 engine should be changed every 18 months-2 years.
They should not need changing until 90,000 miles.
Depends on the type of spark plugs. Factory plugs around 70 - 100k depending on the condition of the plugs. I would replace the spark plugs out with some AC Delco iridium plugs they will last you 100k+.
You should replace your spark plugs at about 60,000 miles if you drive your car rough or as they call it "lead foot". If not you should be able to get about 90,000 out of them. Just remember that the sooner you change them the sooner you can get power and fuel economy back.
