A mulberry tree [Morus spp] is the oldest tree in Uttranchal, India. Mulberries aren't known for being long lived. But the Badrinath Temple tree is beating the odds. Specifically, it's reputed to be at least 1,200 years old. It no longer fruits, but still grows fresh leaves and beautiful flowers.
The whole plant is used medicinally. The leaves and flowers are picked when the flowers are blooming. The roots are harvested in the fall, but the plant must be two years old before the root is harvested.
it may simply be old. remove it completely (roots included) and plant a new tree or you could feterlize it with miricle grow, trim the branches and water vigrously for about a week before you take any dramstic measures
Yes. It has flowers sometimes, and these flowers have no petals, they are initiallying green and later turn yellow. My plant has them, it's 6years old now, started flowering when it was 3years old.
40 years old
unless the tree is very young, 1-2 years old, no flower would damage it.
an oak tree has to be 20 years old before it starts growing akons
how old are they? do they get pollinated? did they bloom? are they in good health? are they grafted or grown from seed?

Definitely a tree. Fourty feet. Though scraggly old things may resemble shrubs but ask the apple preservationist before removal. Many old varieties need preservation.
?? It depends on the tree. Fruit trees will have fruit, nut trees will have nuts, flower trees will have flowers......... the only thing that will be shared by ALL trees is a trunk, branches, roots and leaves.
It must be 20 yrs. old to bear nuts.
I have some moonflowers that I just planted a couple of weeks ago and it won't be long before they have flowers. I had some at another place and it took maybe a month or so before I started getting flowers. They are one of my favorite flowering vines!!!!!

Spring is the time when Kwanzan trees flower in North Carolina.Specifically, the tree in question carries the common names Japanese flowering cherry, Kwanzan cherry, and Oriental cherry tree. It has the scientific name Prunus serrulata 'Kwanzan'. It is native to China, Japan and Korea.Kwanzan cherry flowers on old wood. Such a tree flowers at the same time as, or just before, the tree leafs out. This means that any necessary pruning needs to be carried out when the bloom fades. Otherwise, any pruning will affect the following spring's bloom.
