At any age but it would be better to let the kid suckle its mom as she produces the best milk - unless it is for disease control (ie if you are snatching the kids as the mum has CAE (caprine Arthritis encephalitis) or if you have had quads and mom doesn't have enough milk. If it has been suckling its mom for a while it may take some time for it to get used to a plastic teat
