It is better for circumcision to be done when the child is small, because that is kinder to the child, and so that the child may grow up in a perfect form. There is no report that may be referred to concerning the time of circumcision, and no Sunnah to be followed.
there is no reason for a child to be circumcised in Islam at all this was a tradition started by imams,As a matter of fact according to the Qur'an a child is born perfect and no man has a right to interfere with that perfection, There is in fact no kindnes in mutilating the penis of any child at any age However the younger they are when it is done the more cruel and dangerous it is, There is no rule as to the age of circumcision and it is done before puberty.
