I do not belive that there is an age for how soon a person can take a hunters safety class. But you still must be at least 12 to hunt small game or to bow hunt for deer. To gun hunt for deer you must be at least age 14. Even at reaching that age you must take the classes before you will be allowed to buy a hunting license. You must also have a adult with you while hunting though this may not apply to hunting on your own proptery. The Michigan DNR puts out its hunting regulations guide that is available for free at any place that sells licenses. Wal Mart, has them. You can go to the DNR website to find a safety class in your area.
A quick check of the Ohio Game regulations does not show a minimum age to take the Hunter Safety Course. They DO require that hunters under the age of 17 be accompanied by an adult when hunting. You might contact the Ohio Game staff on their website at ohiodnr.com
The youngest age is ten. I believe when you get to a certain age it is no longer required to take that course. I think that age is 14.
Age may vary depending on your location, and state regulations. You will need to check the regulations for YOUR state- there is no one answer.
13 to 18
Some of the hunter safety classes offered are home study. A student taking this type of class will be required to study the class materials independently, prior to hunt.
Varies, depending on where you are, and the type of course. I attended a 4-H Hunter Safety class in Colorado- most of the class was 11 years old- and were REALLY good students- getting ready to go hunting for the first time with family.
First you need to take a hunter safety class. You will also need a hunting licences. Then you need to get your gear and you are ready to go.
yes of course if u take hunter safety
You can be any age.
about 4 days
I got my DNR license when i was 11 and took the Hunter Safety Class after that i got my real hunting license. Where i live you have to be 11 to be able to take the class and when you graduate the class you get a DNR number and when you go register that's the number on the back of your tag. If you already have a DNR number and have already taken the class than go and get your real license but you MUST TAKE THE CLASS you CAN NOT use your fathers or older brothers old license numbers that ILLEGAL!
Maybe
take a vehicle safety class
First will need to take your states hunters safety course. I would say number one is to only go with an experienced safe hunter, and learn good/safe habits.
First you have to see if your state has a safety class. Most classes are scheduled in intervals depending on the course instructor. You must fill an application and pay the fees required to take the class.
People under the age 21 you are not allow to take the concealed pistol class. You have the be the age 21 or older.
