There are no age requirements for game testers, but most companies prefer to employ individuals at least 18 years of age. This is because you may be asked to test a game rated 18+. However some companies will take on younger testers, especially if they are targeting their game at a younger audience.

Yes a 16 year old can be hired as a video game tester but you have to have a permit so people can hire you to work.. You just have to find the right way to sign up to be one. I have tried to find a way but school blocks everything. If you find a way send me a link by email to red614@msn.com
You must be 18 to be a QA tester as it is a full-time job that cannot be done after school.
Testers were people who tested the game. The game is not testing now, so you cannot be a tester.
im hoping 16 but my best guess would be 18. Good luck!

It might be better to obtain a degree in the profession to get a career or job as a software tester. Unless you have a connection to getting hired on with becoming a tester. There may be some places that might hire non-experiences to non-degree experiences.
