Most parents say their teenage child can live on their own at age 18 or 19. Because my dad says that hes going to " kick my butt out of the house" when [ cause I am 13 right now] I am 18.
If you live in the US... Becoming a parent does not change/affect the age of majority. As long as you are a minor--under 18--you are subject to your parents control and authority, so they call the shots.
It depends on local laws. Generally it's whatever the age of majority is; some places have a process called "emancipation" by which an older child can essentially be legally recognized as an independent adult and allowed to live on their own. In the US, the general age of majority is 18; children of 17 or even 16 can be emancipated (children under the age of 16 run into severe restrictions due to child labor laws, making it difficult for them to support themselves ... which is one of the requirements for emancipation). Other countries may very well have different age requirements.
I think you should be at least 18 .But that is my opinion
i think that you can only be 12or 15
usually between 12and 14 is when you can choose who to live with.
18 when you become an adult.
In the UK, the legal age to live alone is 16. At this age, a young person can usually enter into a tenancy agreement and live independently without parental consent. However, they may still need support from social services until they turn 18.
In Indiana, there is no specific legal age at which a child can live alone. However, it is generally recommended that a child be at least 14 years old before being left home alone for an extended period of time. Parents or guardians should use their judgment based on the child's maturity and ability to care for themselves.

In Rhode Island, a minor under the age of 18 cannot live alone unless they are legally emancipated by a court. Emancipation is typically granted if the minor can demonstrate financial independence and maturity to live on their own.
In Illinois, there is no specific statutory age requirement to be left home alone. The state law only requires children under the age of 14 to be supervised by a responsible person. Parents are encouraged to assess the maturity level of their child before deciding whether it is safe for them to be left alone.
I think the legal age is 12 years old.
