Depends on the law WHERE YOU LIVE. We get questions from several nations, and laws vary. In the US, you may OWN a gun at any age. To BUY a gun from a dealer, you must be 18 for a long gun, 21 for a handgun. In MOST states, you may POSSESS a gun with the permission of your parents, while under supervision of an adult, at younger ages- typically down to about 12-14 yrs of age (while hunting, target shooting). My grandchildren began shooting with me (with their parent's consent) at about age 10. This answer applies to REAL firearms, and not BB guns, airguns, or airsoft guns.
Eighteen. Get someone to buy you one anyway.
It depends on who made the gun. How old it is and if it is desirable to a collector or someone who wants that gun.

Not exactly, but someone of that age would not do so frequently, and even less as other interests arise.
Depends on whether you can legally have a gun where you live, and if the gun was theirs to give you.
