You do have an old one. The model 122 at the end of the barrel indicated that it is a .22 caliber pellet gun. There also was a model 177 that is a .177 caliber pellet gun and a model 100 that is a BB gun. All these models were first introduced in 1935 and ran until 1941. these were the first production air guns by Benjamin. The name Franklin was added as a marketing gimmick and had nothing to do with Ben Franklin. today Crosman owns both the Benjamin and Sheridan line of airguns.
