In order to receive representation from an agent at a top tier agency (UTA, CAA, William Morris, etc.) you will need to have a decent amount of work and experience on your resume. My main suggestion would be to get some screen time; whether it be a feature-film, student-film, TV show, commercial, music video...whatever.
