jack the car up and remove the fan unit then you can get your hand up to where the lock is located and you should be able to push the little catch on the left hand side of the lock this will then open your bonnet i had to do this the other day
get a pair of long nose pliers, to the left of the bonnet lock (as you look at it) is the bonney cable, insert the pliers through the grill to get hold of the cable and push it to your right, towards the lock and the bonnet should pop. the just release the catch and it should open.
For mark1 Yaris Unclip the bottom grill and remove. Push hand up to the lock and feel for the cable coming into the lock from drivers side. Move fingers along the cable until you reach the lock, then next you will feel the inner cable and where it is attached to its lever. Move that lever toward the drivers side and the lock will be released.
Sometimes the plastic coupling breaks, the coupling links the cable from the key barrel to the actual locking latch mechanism. Applying pressure to the coupling (pushing the cable towards and into the latch mechanism) and turning the key can open the bonnet if this is the reason why the bonnet is jammed.
The lock sign should go away when the steering wheel lock is disengaged.
I am looking for a bonnet lock plate and bonnet hingers for 1966 f350
On the bonnet, slide the Ford oval and insert the ignition key into the lock located there
Hi,I assume that the bonnet is the same as the Connect and Focus? If it is, there is a lock on the bonnet/hood. Either behind the badge or the flip up panel
UK right-hand-drive. Small screwdriver and pull off front indicator. Use a long screwdriver and nudge the bonnet lock to release. It may make the job easier if you lever off the 7 spring clips holding the headlight glass, then pull off the reflector which holds the bulbs. Remove the black left-hand 4" circular black plastic cap and this will let you inside the engine bay and just grab the remainder of the cable to release the bonnet.
Insert ignition key into front grille just beneath the bonnet turn anti clockwise to release bonnet and turn clockwise to release safety catch and lift bonnet
the Ford badge on the front of the bonnet lifts up to reveal the bonnet release lock. Use the ignition key and turn to position 1, lift the bonnet, then turn to position 2 to fully release
You need a locksmith.
if locking the car with the key, not with the remote, then yo ucan lock the car and disengage the alarm by turning the key to the left once to lock the car then a second time to disable the alarm.
