The earthworm has a single long tract that extends from their mouth to the anus, just like a human. Nutrients go in one end and waste comes out the other. Over the length of the digestive tract, there are areas where the nutrients are absorbed into the blood stream.

Similarities between the reproductive systems of earthworms and humans is that both have testis, ovaries, prostate gland and seminal vesicle. Another similarity is that both copulation occurs when each lies in contact with one another and reproductive organs connected. One difference between the two is that earthworms are hermaphrodites, meaning that one earthworms has both male and female reproductive organs.
