Compounds which have CH3CO- group or compounds that can be converted to CH3CO- group undergo aldol condensation.

1-propanol doesn't undergo aldol condensation. However 2-propanol undergoes aldol condensation.

Where is an example of where condensation occurs?

Did you ever take a cold bottle of coke out of the refrigerator on a hot summer day? Did you ever leave that same bottle of coke on the counter? What did you notice? You noticed water dropplets forming on the outside of the bottle. That is "condensation" when something cold meets something warm. If you go outside on a very cold winter day and breath...your breath comes out looking like steam...that is condensation. When you exhale on a cold window the water dropplets that form on the window - that is condensation

What happens right after evaporation?

The gas condenses back into water because the atmosphere is cooler the higher up you go. So condensation comes after evaporation and then precipitation.

Is the process of condensing exothermic or endothermic?

Condensation is considered a type of exothermic reaction. Condensation is something that is released, which means that is exothermic instead of endothermic.

Is the air conditioner condensation poisonous?

If you mean the water that forms around the AC components and falls to the ground, then no, it's not poisonous. It's just water from the air. That being said, I probably wouldn't go and drink a lot of it.

Can air conditioning condensation accumulate under the driver's seat?

It can if the drain is stopped up and the evaporator case fills up. It has to go somewhere.

What state does water go through when it changes into gas?

condensation

What process allows water to go from a gas to a liquid?

Change of phase - condensation.

How can you stop condensation?

insulate and use ice...or bury in the ground and seal.

What process do clouds go through in the atmosphere to form?

Condensation, which is part of the water cycle.

Why does glass go misty when you breathe on it?

Your breath is hotter than the glass, it is called condensation.

Condensation is a change form of?

Condensation is when matter changes state from a gas into a liquid. Any type of matter can go through condensation, however, it most commonly refers to water. Condensation is also commonly talked about as a stage of the water cycle, when water vapor turns into liquid droplets suspended on tiny particles in the atmosphere, and forms clouds.

When water boils down does the salinity level go up?

Yes. It's the condensation principle.

Which Solvent can dissolve Mono Ammonium Phosphate other than Water?

It does go in ethyl alcohol easily.... it can go in propanol, but you need a lot of solvent so it's not worth using it.... I goes in ethylene glycol too, but you have to be patient.....

What is heat condensation?

When water vapor condenses back to liquid water, it lets go of internal structural energy in order to revert back to liquid state. THe energy released is Lantent heat of condensation.

What is heat of condensation?

When water vapor condenses back to liquid water, it lets go of internal structural energy in order to revert back to liquid state. THe energy released is Lantent heat of condensation.

When your air is running you are getting water on the floor under the furnace what should you do?

Investigate the way in which condensation is being moved away from the heat exchange. Air conditioning dehumidifies the air as it cools it. The moisture from the process needs to go someplace. Usually there is a pipe that takes it to a sump pump or drain. This could be clogged. Or if it wasn't installed with a drain, you may need to install a condensation pump.
