Any car can be reliable if you take good care of it. Mitsubishi products tend to have less problems but can be expensive on regular maintenance or any repairs. If buying used, watch out where you buy it from. Dont buy it from some teenager who probably beat on it.... Overall great small sports car

Did you bump something loose, and made sure you hooked everything back up?
If its the 2.5, you can swap it for some of the older eclipses and Chrysler sebrings. They use the same engine. (Mitsubishi)
