The switch should be the same as your headlight switch. If not then you will either need to install your own switch for the running lights or buy a new OEM switch module.

your headlamp switch on the dashboard has a small screw on it. its a 3 position switch. turn it to switch daytime running lights off.
It should be just above the oil filter. You should see a little hoes running into it.
take the switch off and wire a plug right to it and plug something in that should tell you if they are live but kill the power in that room first in the basement
run a wire from battery positive to an inline fuse, then to a switch that you have to install in your dash. from the switch to the lights, then to ground. turn on switch, lights should work.
go to running training then jump down the first hole and switch tabs after a while come back and you should get max running points
I presume you're asking about a daylight running light switch? As far as I know, there is no such switch in a Sunfire. They're on when the car is running and is gear. FriPilot
If you are sure that all the wiring is ok, then check the fuel.
