The Christian Heritage Party of Canada has participated in the 1988, 1993, 1997, 2000, 2004, 2006, and 2008 federal elections. Their highest vote count in any of these elections was their first in 1988, in which they received 102 533 votes. Their worst election results occurred in the 2000 election, when they received 10 110 votes. However, the reason they had lost so many votes was because in fact the part was forced to deregister, due to too few members; those candidates who remained in the party went on as independents.
The CHP was re-registered for the 2004 election. In the two consecutive elections since then, their vote count has declined each time.
The next federal election is set to happen sometime between now and 2012. In the meantime, the current goal of the CHP is to attract new members via social media, such as Party Leader Jim Hnatiuk's Facebook page, or the CHP's YouTube channel. The CHP feels that many supporters of the Conservative Party are leaving the Tories, disgruntled at its own failure to keep to its right-wing values.
In the most recent election (2008), the CHP was the most-voted-for party after the Green Party (many of whose members have joined capriciously), and it achieved more votes than the next four most-voted-for parties put together.

The Work Less Party says that you can be a member of another federal Canadian political party, and still join their party too; they are fairly broad on the political spectrum, but they seem to be generally centrist. They exist for the purposes of improved working conditions/fewer working hours/higher wages, as well as anti-consumerism. Their membership per year is quite inexpensive. I am a member of the Work Less Party, but I am also a member of the Christian Heritage Party.
