The conclusion of the Great War (World War I) left Japan and Italy (on the Allied side), and Germany (on the Axis side) frustrated since United States and Britain seemed to take the lion's share of the spoils, leaving the other 26 Allied nations pretty much nothing but their losses. The conclusion of the Great War did little more than to spark an even greater war, subsequently called the Second World War, or WWII.
