People in the United States are required to be counted during the census, which is conducted every ten years. This generally means that the names and ages of everyone in a household must be provided to the Dept. of Commerce, which administers the census. This requirement is described in Title 13 of the United States Code. Most people respond to the census by completing a form mailed to most households. Those household that don't return the form are visited by a census worker to conduct the census personally. The use of force to repel a census worker is a federal crime. It's not likely you will be charged with a crime for failing to respond to the census (although it's possible), but the use of force against a census worker will almost certainly bring the police and the possibility of local or federal criminal charges.

Can one heir force three heirs to sell property if they want to keep it?

In most cases, one heir cannot force three other heirs to sell a property if they want to keep it, unless specified in a legal document or through a court order. All heirs typically have equal rights to the property and must come to an agreement on its disposition. If an agreement cannot be reached, a mediator or legal action may be needed to resolve the issue.

If you slide a hockey puck across a frictionless ice rink is there a horizontal force on it to keep it in motion?

Once contact with the object that provided the force to initiate the motion, i.e. your hand or the hockey stick, there is no force tending to keep it in motion. The inertia of the puck in motion will resist any change in that motion, but inertia is a physical property not a force. From a free body diagram the only apparent force acting on the puck would be air resistance tending to slow it down.
