Some models allow the rear of the back seat to be removed. If it comes out you can crawl into the trunk and release the latch. If not, then the lock will either have to be picked by a locksmith or drilled out. On some newer cars, the dealer may be able to determine the key type from the vin # and be able to make a new key.
press the door lock open or lock for 5 seconds.
pick the lock or use a skeleton key
How do you open your 2006 honda accord trunk when the emergency lock will not work and the remote doesn't open it?
You have to open the trunk lid, under the lock on the inside you will find a screw, remove the screw and the lock retaining clip, pull the lock out. If you can not open the trunk lid, drill the lock center out, and you should be able to open with a screw driver.
remove rear seat and insulation
Try the key in the trunk lock ...
there is open trunk switch in the glove compartment
Doesn't it have a key lock also?, if not you will have to take the back seat out and crawl through and open it from the inside, there should be a handle on the lock on the inside of the trunk that you can pull and it will open.
Use you key to unlock and open the trunk.
Won't the valet key open the trunk
On a 01 model, you should have a trunk release button in the trunk, or on the drivers door. If that doesnt work, you can see about lowering the rear seats down, and getting into the trunk that way. There should be a little pull strap near the trunk lock that will open the trunk. There is a trunk release button - when you open the glovebox, it is to the left of the opening so that it cannot be seen unless glovebox is open.
i had the same problem...i have to use my trunk button on my keys and then lift the trunk at the same time..it wont open with my key..and there is a trunk lock button in your glove box..idk if that will help.
