Begin by removing the Geo Tracker door panel. The entire window mechanism will be visible. The window linkage will have adjustment nuts on each end of the linkage.
You can get a window regulator for a 1993 Geo Tracker at auto part stores. You can also check with local salvage yards.
see my profile. yes, 1/2 inch free play.
replace window regulator
Ok I got the window replace but how do you adjust it so that it runs up and down on the track properly? The front side of the window keeps falling off the track because the window rolls down crooked. Thanks
what year?
First off you have to remove the door panel and then you will see a few nuts...there is about 3 nuts (10mm) that hold the window slides in place. 1)loosen those bolts and you can tweak the window side to side... 2) loosen the nut on the rubber slide at the top of the slide that guides the window up and down... this will let you adjust how high the window goes up before it stops... just adjust it alittle at a time and check the window,,,Good Luck
window regulator is worn out
The advantages of having a lifetime tracker mortgage are that you can pay off your mortgage over a 25 year or longer period of time and you can also adjust your payments by lowering them or increasing them.
It is not possible to replace single switch in the driver side window cluster of Ê2000 Chevy Tracker. The cluster is only sold as one piece and single switches cannot be purchased.
you don't you replace it
To remove the window knob, you need to purchase a tool at any auto parts store, you would then slide the tool behind the window crank and simply push out the clip that holds the window lever in place.
You don[t adjust it. If it isn't tracking right something is bent or broken.
