The low beam lights have three attachment points and these act as the adjustment knobs; looking at the light, one is at the 11 o'clock position, the second is at two o'clock, and the third is at five o'clock. These allow for vertical and horizontal alignment. On the high beam, there is only one point, located at the seven o'clock position, and it allows vertical movement only.
If you have a 9-5 without the fancy xenon stuff look at the headlamps. at the back you will se the adjuster. You will need a 6 mm socket that you put on the white vertical end and you just twist.
If you have an 03-07 Saab 9-3 you would need to remove the front bumper. I've included a How To video in the related links section below that will show you exactly how to do this.

First, your headlight switch must be in the "ON" position, even if your lights stay on all the time. If your switch is "ON" you simply pull the controller to engage your windshield washers. The Headlight washers operate when the windshield washers operate. Get someone to watch them as you wash your windshield or you can shine your lights onto a wall and see the shadows as they operate.
First remove the lamp cover. Then unplug the bulbs from the connectors and then replace them with the new bulbs.
There is a knob behind the light assembly, turn it to adjust the the light.
Best to take it to the shop and let them put the aiming gauges on it to get them right.
There are 2 screws on the assembly. The center one is for aim adjustment.

There are little black rods sticking up by the head lights that have a spot to put a screwdriver in. You turn these rods to aim the headlights correctly.
Park your vehicle approximately 15 feet from your garage door or another wall. Open the hood and on top of both of the headlights you will see adjustment screws. Rotating them will lower/raise the headlights
The are adjustment screws next to the headlight housings. To adjust the headlights either loosen or tight the screws. This will either raise or lower the headlight unit.
You need special equipment to do this correctly. Take it to a dealer for this.

To aim the Mitsubishi Galant Headlights open the engine compartment of the vehicle. Locate the headlights and use a screwdriver on the vertical adjustment screw positioned on top of the headlight. This screw will allow adjustment for position where the light will shine.
