If you use Safari, click on Safari in the menu bar and make sure that "Block Pop-Ups" is ticked. If you use a different browser, you should download Safari, it is much safer, quicker and free of pop-ups.

You can sign up for an internet filtering service like PageClean.com. - this filters internet before it gets to your phone - you can keep using Safari as the web browser - can block adult apps as well - can be locked in place with a password
