the fuel filter is an "inline" style
located under the car between the rear drivers side door and the rear tire ( I think its drivers side, it's been awhile since I did mine)
***A shot of gasoline to the face is a great reminder to depressurize the fuel system first***
for the nut style:
use flare nut wrenches for the fuel line side as they have a six sided grip
be real careful you "DO NOT twist the fuel line!!"
it may be stuck or rusted on there and require a more professional touch
if so let them do it
using a regular wrench on the filter and a flare nut wrench on the fuel line undo the gas line from the filter on both sides
undo the bracket and remove the filter (you may want to do this first, your choice)
replace the filter the same way and again be real careful on that fuel line
if its the rubber tube style :
remove the bracket and just undo the hose clips and pull them apart it may take some effort, just be careful with the fuel line
replace the same way
remember you will get some gas spilling out
be prepared for that
