I did this by running both a positive and negative lead from jumper cables direct to the fan connector. Unplug the connector from the bottom of the fan which in inside under dash on the passenger side. It is a DC motor so will run with wires connected either way.
Under the bottom of the dash on the passenger side.
It is behind the glove box door.
I am assuming you are referring to the air conditioner blower motor. If so, check the fuses first. The resistor could be defective as well as the relay and fan motor.
Remove the instrument panel silencer from the passenger side of the instrument panel. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the blower motor. Remove the three screws that secure the blower motor to the HVAC housing. Remove the blower motor from the HVAC housing by rotating and tilting the motor as needed for clearance of the blower wheel....
Behind the glovebox and it secured with only 2 screws.
If you are sure that everything is working correctly then check the ground going to the blower motor assembly.............. Which goes through the blower resistor.
The blower motor resister is located just to the left of the blower motor on the passengers side right below the blower motor return air tube.......
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 2005 Chevy Cavalier heater blower motor. Remove the heater blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the heater blower fan.
The 2005 Lesabre has the blower motor mounted under the dash. It is under the glove box on the firewall behind a panel.
Your ignition switch has failed. There is a good chance that the wiring plug for the switch has melted slightly due to a blower motor that is pulling too many amps. You will have to replace the switch, plug, and blower motor.
Replace the blower motor resistor.
To replace the blower motor 2005 Ford Focus, you have to see the attached instructions on the manual. A screwdriver will help you remove the screw.
