All you have to do is take the ht leads out (or rail if you have one) take the spark plugs out, put a rag over the holes and turn over the engine. This will spurt the oil onto the rag. Leave open for an hour or so and the oil will drain away. Clean with a rag and make sure you clean the plugs and leads too. Replace and your car should run much better than before!
No there should not be any oil where you plug your spark plugs into
The spark plugs are beneath the cover marked Quad 4. This cover holds the ignition coils that spark the plugs. Remove the cover and you will be able to see the spark plug holes on the top.
They are on top of the intake just inside the rim of the valve cover, and they have individual coils on top, so 8 spark plugs & 8 coils.
Looking at the top of the valve cover there is a cover in the center. The spark plugs are right below that cover.
Replacing spark plugs is pretty simple. Disconnect the battery, remove the cover and cables, remove the old spark plugs, put in the new spark plugs, put the cover and wires back on the spark plugs, and reconnect the battery.
Disconnect the battery, remove the engine cover, remove the spark plugs wires and boots, and remove the spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, replace the spark plug wires and boots, replace the engine cover, and connect the battery.
the spark plugs are set down inside the valve cover. you have to remove the 4 "box" looking tops of the spark plug wires, and use a good long extension to get to them.
the spark plugs are under the cover on top of the engine.
The spark plugs are located, 3 on each side of the engine right along the inside of the wheel well. They are recessed inside the valve cover and require the individual ignition coils to be removed to gain access to the plugs.
Disconnect the battery, remove the boot cover and spark plug cables, and pull out the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, replace the boot cover, and spark plug cables, and reconnect the battery.
