Per Kubler-Ross's Theory she presented 5 ways in which people learned to deal with death. First is denial, which is normal because when someone first finds out that they are about to die they will be shocked and will be in disbelief. Second is anger , they will expierence anger towards the world asking them selfs questions like why me? Third is bargaining, they will try and bargain sometimes with God saying if you give me a few years Ill do something in return. Fourth is depression , which is common when the person can no longer deny the illness and Fith is finally acceptance because they have come to terms that their death is inevitable.
