you need the machine that tells you the code. i think its called OBDII scanner. you plug it in, turn our ignition to ON, let the machine do its thing and come to the main screen, then you hit delete codes and it'll ask you if you're sure you want to blah blah blah. then you hit ok several times and ta-da! auto zone won't do it for you because they have been sued before, but you can loan the tool out (don't tell them you're erasing codes) for diagnostic purposes, go and erase them and return it. hope that helps.

An Oxygen sensor does not reset. You have to replace them and yes they are expensive.

You bring it to a service station and tell them to replace the oxygen sensor.
You can not successfully clean an oxygen sensor. You need to replace it.
With an o2 sensor socket.
You need to take a wrench to loosen the oxygen sensor, then you will need to disconnect the cord. Once you have done that you will then pull out the old oxygen sensor.
Take it to the dealership.... Its real simple take the car jack it up take off the housing cover where the oxygen sensor is at then un plug the sensor, and replace...
Just unplug the electrical connector and then unscrew the oxygen sensor out of the exhaust pipe.
