It should be the yellow wire that runs from the ign. harness from the steering wheelit will be about a 12 ga wirethis wire will be with about 5-7 other wires of the same gauge.
Not that hard, it's located on the back side of the motor. Make sure it's the starter. You can test it with a remote starter. My car has the problem with the ignition, because it started when I hooked up the remote.

What does a remote starter have to do with the wipers? Just turn them off when stopping the car, and then when you use the remote starter, the next time, the wipers will not come on. If the wipers are not on then they will not work, no matter if you are using a remote starter or not.
Somebody with the remote is messing with you. I had a similar problem years ago and found a defective starter solenoid was the problem
