Take out the ashtray (in front of the gear stick) and in there you will find the connector
Because of some french idiots, you have to remove the gearbox. And to remove the gearbox... omg
bring to the gearbox specialist:))))
The reversing light switch on a Renault laguna is in much the same as on many other cars. Basically it links to the gearbox or the gear lever, so that when the gear lever is at the reverse position it engages the switch. On the laguna it is on the gearbox near to the left hand end (from the drivers view). You must remove the left front wheel to see it more clearly and possibly the plastic under-engine plastic shield. The switch is normally open, and shorts out when you engage reverse, so you can test it with an ohm meter.
hi, is the service light on the dash ? its probley gone into safe mode becacuse the ecu has detecteda fault. probley electrical. i,m having the same problem with my laguna. can you tell me where the overide button is please ?
Check auto transmission fluid level. If it's not that, an auto trans servicing outfit will be able to look at fault codes and diagnose a deeper problem if there is one.
geat a new gearbox mate gant change them
Check the solenoid. This happened to us and we had to have the solenoid replaced. Part cost about AUD$240 but labour was $800!
my car renault clio 2005 found problem in gear box who open to change oil and clean filter gear ? found video about this question
Dont change gear and just hope you don't have to go faster than 40mph.
It is called 'snow mode'. If you select the button, the auto gearbox selects 2nd gear to save wheelspin on snow/ice from a standing start. It does the same thing as starting off in 2nd gear in a manual gearbox. Hope this clarifies it.
yes you have to change gear in any vehical that is a stick. you can change it to 1st gear or neutral. but on the other hand with a automatic their is no need to change gear they put a auto clutch system in vehicals like that.
