To graph 80000 individual values is not really practical, as you would not be able to see things clearly. Graphs are not designed to deal with so many individual values. Even a few hundred values on a line or bar graph does not look great and give a good indication in the way a graph is meant to. So you are better to in some way narrow down the amount of values considerably and do lots of separate charts.

How do you find an exact data point on an Excel graph?

Excel 2007 does not have this capability. Excel 2003 can do this as described in the related link. The idea is to draw your graph, then overlay a non-related point on the graph. When you drag the non-related point to the location on the graph where you want to identify a data point, you will see the underlying cell reference change to the location of your selected data point.

How do you draw a graph of sin1by x?

Just as you would draw the graph of any other function: -- Select several different numbers for 'x'. -- For each one, calculate the value of "sin1by x", and mark the point on the graph paper. -- After you've done this for enough values of 'x', you'll start to see the shape of the graph, with whatever twists and turns it may have. From there, you can draw most of it free-hand, without any more calculations.

Need help for Excel Graph?

Hello Everyone,I have a hard time with above graph in excel. I wanna know how to get exact value when the graph line crossing (Intercept) "Y" Axis (highlighted in yellow). Currently I'm doing that by manual. I wanna do that with the help of some kinda formula. I hope anyone our here know how to figure this out please help. Thanks in Advance. ========================================================== First, we cannot see your graph, which would be useful. However, it is not necessay. Mathematically, if you know the equation for the graph, then you can work out the y intercept, by checking what value you get for Y when X is zero. So say for example your equation was Y = 2X + 4. Then you would substitute zero for X which would give you a value for Y, in this case 4. You may already know all that and what follows, but anyway I can give it to you. To do that in Excel, you would set up a column for X values and put the range of values you need into the cells in that column. Then put the formula in the column where you want the values for Y in the next column. So say the first X value was in A2, then in B2 you would put the following formula, using the 2X + 4 example and copy the formula down column B: =A2 * 2 + 4 Then you would have your two columns with X and Y values. You then use the XY Scatter Chart type, picking one that shows the lines and it will draw the graph for you. However, it is worth noting that Excel doesn't always draw the graphs perfectly, so where you see them cross the axes isn't always precise, but for straight line graphs it usually is sufficient and if you look at the graph you will see that.
