There are many ways to do this. If the background of the image you want to extract is roughly all one color, use the Fuzzy Select tool and put the threshold at just high enough to select everything but the image you want to extract. Then delete that selection. If the background is something different, then you can erase around the image you want to extract, using a smaller and smaller brush for the more detailed parts. This is the most time-consuming and most accurate way to extract the image, I suggest this method if you're in no hurry to get it done. :)
Gimp is a free image editor that can make animated .gif files just like Photoshop, which is a professional grade (and expensive) image editor program.
At work, I often use GIMP image editor. It's an open source image editor which has many functions similar to Photoshop. Download it for free
The main professional image editor is Adobe Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro is a more affordable program that aims to do everything Photoshop does. In the open source world, the standard image editor is called The Gimp.
You can format using an image editor as GIMP or Photoshop, they are programs optimized exactly for this purpose. Some image converters support also a limited set of image processing operations.
Comparing the two is not right. One is an online site, the other one is an offline image editor. Each has its strengths and weaknesses.
A free and very efficient program is GIMP. Helicon Filter is not free, a very good image editor, where you can apply frames. Its a trial program. Moreover, there are many image editors on-line which are free and works fine. You can save your work, copy and paste the image in your blog editor.
I don't believe so although GIMP is a free image editor GNU Image Manipulation Program, most linux various are distros or distribution
You can use any image editor for Roblox that you want to. Many people use Microsoft Paint, but there are plenty of free programs you can download that work much better. I personally prefer to use Paint.net and Gimp.
It stands for: Gnu Image Manipulation Program
too expensive
Several. If you want a 2D image graphic design, try GIMP. It is a good, free image editor close to photoshop. I would assume that it works great for graphics. If you want a 3D one, Blender is free and works good. GIMP: www.gimp.org Blender: www.blender.org
Gimp is nothing like Photoshop. It works with images in a way that is completely foreign to those familiar with Adobe-type products. It was as if it the program was designed by someone who had never had to actually manipulate an image professionally. If you're stuck on the Linux OS, but you need to work with images I would suggest looking at an app called "Pixel Image Editor". Also, there is a Gimp/Photoshop hack called "Gimpshop".
