The cruise control for th3 2004 Lincoln Aviator is located on the steering wheel console. Simply look to the bottom right area of the console to access the settings.

Hopefully, you have had the cruise control module recall work done. It's free at any Ford, Lincoln or Mercury dealership. It can start a fire and be very dangerous. Take it to dealership right away.
in my Lincoln mark 8 1993, it was a sticky cable on the cruise control try disconnection the cruise control cable from the throtle body
Depends what's going on with it my 93 was recalled for that.
