First question to ask is - Is the timer turning on the pump? Next question: Is the timer shutting off? If it is the latter and this is often the case - it may just be the "off" tripper. Replace this tripper ) the black one if Intermatic) and test.
Is the clock keeping time? If not you may be able to find a clock motor with the same code and part numbers as the original and then replace it. Otherwise you will have to change out the entire mechanism. This usually is an easy task but you have to be sure that the circuit breaker(s) are off and that there is no power to the clock. If you do not have a clue as to where each wire goes on the new clock then DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS JOB. Let a pool tech do the work. k
