When you get the error 14 and u are using 1st generation iPod the fix is easy 1. Download iTunes 7.5 (dont know if it works with any other versions but this worked for me) 2. Remove the latest version of itunes and install this one (note move the itunes folder from my music folder to desktop or any temporary place) 3. Download ipod touch firmware,2.2 ( any from the 2.0 updates but mine worked on the 2.2 so try that one first) 4. Connect ipod in DFU mode or if its already in recovery mode just connect it 5. Open itunes 7.5 and when it telks you ipod is in recovery mod Hold shift and click restore Browse for the 2.2 firmware and install that 6. If it worked enjoy it, X. If you are using ipod 2g i assume the steps to be similar but i dont guarantee sucess

Nothing, there is nothing your iPod Touch can do to help you get an iPad.

You can go on iTunes with your ipod touch and you can put on the same songs that were on your nano that is how i did mine though Yes, you can. You can use iPod 2 iPod, it can help you transfer song from iPod Nano to your iPod touch.
Human error.
Sent it to apple!
The iPod's software will probably need restoring. Apple have a trouble shooting guide (See links below) which may help sort out the problem.
You first need to put it in DFU mode, then restore, or if you are trying to Jailbreak it, you need to restore to OriginalFW.ipsw and then follow the jailbreak instructions.
Well, because it is an iPod, and it has a touch screen.
can you just tell me what website to go on and how do get my ipod unlocked i cant go on my ipod touch because it says "ipod is disabled connect to itunes" how do you connect to itunes???? could you help me? please????:(
If you have forgotten your iPod Touch password please follow the following steps.1. Plug your iPod Touch into your computer via USB and open iTunes if it does not automatically open.2. Hold the sleep/power button and the home buttonon your iPod Touch for 30-40 seconds until the device reboots and your iPod Touch prompts you to connect to iTunes.3. iTunes will detect that your iPod Touch is in recovery mode and will guide you through the restore process.Note: This may wipe all data from your iPod. There are more technical ways to resetting your password but this is the safest and easiest way.If you get a "-18 error" simply disconnect your iPod Touch from your computer and restart iTunes. When iTunes has loaded back up reconnect your iPod Touch via USB and iTunes will detect your device is in recovery mode as before. This time you should not get a "-18 error".
