Well, they need to be a certain personality. You can have either the friendly to everyone personality or the rarely gets in fights one because it doesn't have to be the same for both the doggies. Hope I helped!

Actually, yes, they can mate! You MUST follow ALL the following rules so far, though, otherwise it wont work!

ONLY feed them dry food and milk

NO COMPETITIONS WHATSOEVER!

ONLY take the male for walks

They MUST be fed regually!

ONLY bathe them if their coat is "Normal" or worse.

DO NOT brush them!

NOTE: They must be the same breed but they don't have to be the same colour. Also, you can try mixing breeds but I can't guarantee it'll work.

First you have to have 99000 trainer points get a male and female it can be a lab, shiba inu, or a poodle. put a rose on the girl and a lucky collar on the boy.

Then put the nintendogs record on. NO baths NO contest NO barkmode and NO walks for both dogs. Then for about 3 or 2 days your female should get bigger. Then one day you should turn on your ds or dsi and the male will great you. When the male cuddels the female and a puppy should come running up.

No the dogs are actually puppies and puppies can't have puppies.
