Purchase a custom trailer wiring kit made especially for your S10. It is a simple plug in type setup that comes with detailed instructions. It uses the factory wiring harness and no cutting or splicing is necessary. The cost a little mare but are well worth it. These are sold at almost all Auto Parts stores and even Walmart.
Most major auto parts stores can get you a diagram of the ignition wiring for a 1995 S10 Blazer. You can also research the ignition wiring at your local library.
Not all trucks are built with a trailer harness plug. If you can not find one, then your truck does not have one and you need to install one.

No it will not work. All the wiring connectors and the computer is different in the 95 not just that but the transmission is designed different.

You will need to remove the retaining ring from the top of your 1989 Chevrolet blazer ignition switch. Slide the ignition switch out and remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.
