There are several wires that must be removed from the existing starter before it can be replaced. The wires need to be taped and labeled so that they can be put correctly back on the new starter. The old starter needs two bolts to be taken out to put the starter in.

The starter relay is inside the starter. You will need to replace the starter.
its probbaly the starter. i have a 1993 and mine went bad. check all the wires and tighten everything that's loose and if that dosent work put a screw driver across the terminals on the starter and if it dosent turn over then the starter is bad
Disconnect the ground cable from your battery, remove the bolts holding the old one on and then take the wires loose and put the new one in.
put up on car jacks or on host use 14mm wrench (sockets are a tight fit)then some patients after u get the motor unmounted then tackle the ground and power wires, wiggle the starter out and that`s that`s...

Did you put a starter on it ? If so, Then you have put the starter wires in the wrong place are you have the big battery wire touching the small wire that goes to the starter. Recheck the wiring on the starter.
Disconnect the positive battery cable and then take out the starter bolts and remove the wires/ then put the wires onto the new starter, put the stater back on and then put the battery cable back on.
