You'll have to get in touch with someone who works for the AKC (American Kennel Club). You'd need to know who the sire and dam are and any other pertinent info needed. If the parents aren't registered, then the dog will not be eligible either. That's the best place to start.
The dog's breeder should either provide you with a slip that you must mail in to the respective kennel club, or sometimes register the dog themself and transfer the papers to you. I've seen it done both ways. However, if both parents were not registered with a legitimate registering body, then the puppy would be ineligible.
To register your poodle with AKC or similar organisations, I believe that both parents need to be registered.
You can't, she doesn't have proof or being pedigree so she is classed as a mutt.
Hi No you cannot register the litter from these set of parents. To get the pedigree certificates, you must have a fully registered poodle who breeds with another fully registered poodle of the same size. For example, a miniature to a miniature, standard to standard etc.
There is no such thing as a "teacup" poodle, it is a toy poodle, if you're buying or selling teacup poodles they don't exist just like unicorns because they're a myth. AKC, CKC, and UKC only accept and register toy, mini, and standard poodles.
You get a miniature poodle because a big poodle + a small poodle =a miniature poodle .
No. Only a poodle or a mixed breed poodle species contains the poodle gene.
a poodle can be male or female.
You can obtain a dual registration from CKC for your AKC registered Dog. AKC does not recognize CKC (Continental Kennel Club). Therefore your litter would need to be CKC registered. You can print out your applications at www.ckcusa.com
