Remove the belt from your 1985 Nissan 300 alternator. Remove the wiring harness from the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. The alternator will come off.
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1995 Chrysler LHS alternator. Remove the alternator belt. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. The alternator will come off and can be replaced with the new alternator.

Loosen the tensioner pulley. The alternator belt will become loose. Take off the belt. Remove the wiring harness from the alternator. Remove the retaining bolts from the alternator. Remove the alternator. Reverse the process to install the new alternator.
unbolt it, take the belt off, take the wires off the alternator and replace with new alternator.
Remove the complete wiper assembly from the bottom of the windshield. This will give you room to remove the alternator.
Disconnect the battery, remove all wires from the alternator, slacken the belt tensioner, slip the belt off of the alternator pulley, unbolt the alternator, and remove the alternator. Installation is the opposite of removal.
ur going to take off the long bolt through the alternator and the ground wire red and use a crowbar to pry it from the engine ...your gonna have to move the tail pipe to squeeze it out
There is a belt tightener on the alternator which must be loosened to take the belt off. After the belt is loose, remove the bottom mounting bolt and the alternator is off. you will also need to remove the wiring.
