Looking inside, the passenger-side of the vehicle should be on your left (unless you're in the UK or another RH drive country) and the driver-side on your right. Look down and you'll see the serpentine belt looping around all the pulleys. On one of the pulleys, there should be a bolt head that sticks out much more than the bolts on the other pulleys. Using a long wratchet (I used a long torque wrench) and 14mm socket, turn this nut counterclockwise, which will rotate the tension pulley and relax the belt. It should turn fairly easily as it is spring tensioned. Note how the belt is threaded before you take it off, although there should be a diagram on the new belt's packaging to help you out. After you take the old belt off, simply thread the new one on in the same manner. It's a lot easier if you have someone maintain pressure on the wrench while you use both hands to thread the belt. I simply tied a bungee around my wrench to keep the pressure on it.
