There are two available resources I've found thus far in my quest to not pay $250 to the local yokle mechanic who smiles when he quotes me prices for fix-it work: 1) Try this website. The pictures are bad, the advice somewhat muddled, and the descriptions confusing, but I found it a good starting place. http://volvospeed.com/Repair/v70latch1.php 2) Buy a new assembly and install it yourself. This is the whole unit which includes everything you need to for a new, working lock. Better yet, hit up your local junk yard for it.
