Take 8 bolts out of the bottom of the truck bed.
Take 3 bolts out of the gas cap.
Have two people pick up and slide back the truck bed.
Disconnect 4 connections to the fuel pump.
Use a slip wrench to loosen the fuel pump.
Take the fuel pump out and inspect fuel filter.
As I understand it, if the filter needs replacement, you have to replace the whole assembly, as it is one unit.
