Its real easy. You'll need a Philips head screwdriver.
First remove the ashtray, and the screw that is revealed behind. Then pull the radio surround out bottom first. Now remove the six screws that hold the dash panel cover in place.
Pull out the dash panel cover slightly and unplug any switches. Take note which plug goes to which switch. Then completely remove cover panel. Now you will have access to four screws that hold the dash in place. More info on fordmods.com

You might want to check or replace your dash dimmer light switch. I found this to cause either no dash lights or intermittent lights. Check the fuse box under the hood. The fuse you need is under the hood.
To replace dash lights on a Mazda B 3000 first disconnect the battery and remove the dashboard. Unplug the cluster wiring and carefully remove the display. Replace the lights.
Check your fuse. Usually the manufacturer has the dash lights and the tail lights on the same circuit.
Start with the retaining screws at the very bottom of the dash (around the hood release area), then work your way up. It can be tedious, so take your time.
