How to replace the door lock sensor on a C Class Mercedes?

To replace the door lock sensor you have to replace the door lock unit. You have to remove the door inside trim panel. To remove this trim panel carefully prise the top of the inside door handle ( use a plastic priser, a metal screwdriver may csratch). Remove torque screw inside handle. Next there is a plastic sign on the door trim panel that says "SRS air bag" Using your plastic priser prise it from the bottom. It should open like a trap door, inside there is another torque screw remove it. Carefully prise the trim panel from the door it is held on with plastic push on holders and a waterproof sealant. You should now be able to see the door lock Remove the door lock screws and unclip wires. To extract the lock from the door you have to remove the two revits holding the window sliding bar Carefully sneek the lock down and out through the opening at the bottom of the door. Reverse the process for fitting.
