go to the link im posting if i remember right its for a '95 z28, but i used it on my 1998 trans am, not a whole lot of difference between the two just different inner door panels. another place to check is a forum i belong to www.ls1tech.com do a search on there they have lots of knowledge there as many of them are factory techs.
http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.HTML has step by step instructions and pictures.
if all else fails get on eBay and look for the gm factory manuals for the 1998-2002 f-car
it'll be around $50-$60.00 sometimes so just be patient and youll get a good deal on them. also invest it a large C-clamp, youll need it for this project if you want to save yourself a headache. the author at shbox explains what its for but youll DEFINITELY want to have one or youll spend maybe another 5 hours on this one trying to get a counter spring re-coiled (not fun). Best of luck and remember be patient or you will likely never get this one done, it is doeable but not fun, i would rate the time needed for most people to do this in is about 3-4 hours so get the motor BEFORE you take anything apart and don't plan on going anywhere so make an afternoon of it.
(the camaro and firebird are both covered in a 3 volume set (the v6 and v8 cars share the set) the 4th volume is a supplement and unless you have to have it, it's not a big deal not to get it)

where is the blower motor on a 2001 chevy blazer
pull off the door panel, and the will be some plastic, pull that off and you will see the bolts holding the motor on the door, watch how you pull it off and remember how it go's back in, shouldn't take you more then 20-45 mins to pull it and replace it
The plastic on the rear window motor of a 2001 S-10 Blazer is black. It surrounds the majority of the motor and is easily distinguishable from the metal.
